CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CLASSES ON THE MAT

MORNING FLOW

This class is designed to get your blood flowing and activate the whole kinetic chain for the rest of the day. Ensuring that you feel warm, energetic and ready to crush the week.

You will need a mat for this class.

ORGANIC POWER FLOW

Power yoga is an active, dynamic and challenging form of yoga. It draws its roots from Ashtanga Vinyasa, a rigorous and physically demanding style of yoga that employs a slow flow. The postures in this class are performed in a fluid motion as opposed to a set sequence. There is a lot of flexibility in what type of flows we practice, with many of the poses requiring the practitioner to balance strength and core with mobility and agility. The goal of this class is to find stillness through movement.

YIN + MYOYIN

Using SMR tools and myofascial release techniques to move through a yin practice allows stillness and/or light movement to promote opening and relaxation of the tissues resulting in greater flexibility and awareness of the body while surrendering to the breath to create a deeper sense of calm and allowing self-reflection and healing of the body. and mind.

YOGA FLOW FUNCTION + MOBILITY

A slow flow mat and body therapeutics practice using props, multiple resistance bands, and SMR tools to purposefully engage and relax muscles while creating strength to promote balance and increase flexibility.

BUTI YOGA

This dynamic practice intuitively blends primal movement with cardio bursts and vibration to tone the body - physical, emotional + spiritual.  Caloric burn during this class ranges from 600-900.

Music guides our classes like an internal GPS. The beat blended movement forces you out of your head and INTO YOUR BODY. All formats incorporate elements of shaking + vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization.

You will need a mat for this class.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga consists of a series of simple postures which dig deep into connective tissue and fascia layer. This class is gentle and suited for all levels and is very beneficial for individuals with decreased range of motion or mobility. The slower pace is a nice complement to other forms of exercise as well as an excellent form of stress relief – helping rid the body of tension. Props may be used to assist in deeper stretches and stress reduction. This slow paced class encourages the body to relax deeply, loosening the muscles and de-stressing the mind while releasing chronic tension held in the body. Set to soft relaxing music, dim lighting and inspirational guidance.
