CLASSES ON THE MAT

BUTI YOGA

Music guides the class like an internal GPS. The beat blended movement forces you out of your head and INTO YOUR BODY. It is in THIS magical place that you integrate your human experience instead of escape it. All formats incorporate elements of shaking + vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization.

 

Step onto your mat and into your primal power with Buti® - a cardio-intensive sweat session that will burn 600-900 calories per class while balancing the physical, energetic and spiritual bodies.

AWAKEN VINYASA FLOW

Awaken your healing potential as you are guided you through a dynamic full body strength building Vinyasa flow style class. Your instructor will guide you through proper alignment techniques and sequences while incorporating the holistic teachings of your chakra energy systems to aid you in a deeper understanding of how yoga restores immune health, increases mental, physical and spiritual strength in your life. Each session ends with a time of meditative savasana awakening your true essence to health.  Awaken Yoga Flow is suitable for all levels and modifications

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga consists of a series of simple postures which dig deep into connective tissue and fascia layer. This class is gentle and suited for all levels and is very beneficial for individuals with decreased range of motion or mobility. The slower pace is a nice complement to other forms of exercise as well as an excellent form of stress relief – helping rid the body of tension. Props may be used to assist in deeper stretches and stress reduction. This slow paced class encourages the body to relax deeply, loosening the muscles and de-stressing the mind while releasing chronic tension held in the body. Set to soft relaxing music, dim lighting and inspirational guidance.

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle Yoga is a slow and mindful practice that focuses on stretching all areas of the body while releasing tension and stress in a non-heated room. Through gentle poses, proper alignment and breath awareness you will get your blood flowing, improving circulation and relief of muscular tension.

This class is suitable for all levels and is beneficial to those with physical limitations, injuries, pre and post-surgery.

POWER HOUR VINYASA

POWER HOUR VINYASA

Power Hour is an energetic vinyasa flow class with a little extra emphasis on building strength and burning calories. You will be guided through sun salutations and creative asana sequences, while connecting breath with movement and a focus on proper alignment. Expect to get a good workout out as well as a good stretch to leave feeling rejuvenated and accomplished.

ANTIGRAVITY FUNDAMENTALS - BEGINNER AERIAL CLASS

New to AntiGravity Yoga? AntiGravity Yoga Fundamentals is a beginner antigravity yoga class with very detailed instructions, basic sequences, and drills to help you get used to the hammock. Learn the grips, wraps and traps in a fun class that you will come back to time and time again. New students are required to take at least 3 Fundamental classes before moving on to Level 2.

 

* Please be sure to wear a top with sleeves to prevent chaffing and for hygiene purposes. Remove all jewelry and avoid perfumes and scented lotions.

ANTIGRAVITY AERIAL YOGA - LEVEL 2

Explore the evolution of yoga into 3-dimensional space in a challenging, flow class with zero gravity inversions and no pressure on the joints. This body/mind/spirit class will take your yoga practice to a whole new level - increasing flexibility, strength all while finding a deeper connection.   Every asana, vinyasa sequence, grip/wrap/trap on the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock is named and taught with clear progressions.

 

3 BEGINNER classes are required before taking a Level 2 class.

ANTIGRAVITY SUSPENSION FITNESS

Suspension Fitness allows for a strenuous workout while preserving joint integrity. Explore the balance of gravity and the opportunity provided by the hammocks to play with that relationship, using your own body as resistance. This is a serious fitness class that offers variety, interest and fun to keep you returning for more, and that is the key to developing greater proficiency, endurance, and strength. Expect strong upper body and core work using the Harrison hammock.

 It is helpful but not necessary to be familiar with the Harrison AntiGravity Hammock before taking this class however, beginners are welcome. Bring water and a yoga mat. Wear a shirt with sleeves that covers the armpit such as a short or long sleeve shirt.

20/20/20 ANTIGRAVITY -ADVANCED

*ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS*

Jump start your week with the Anti-Gravity sampler! Begin with 20 minutes of Suspension Fitness, followed by 20 minutes of Anti-Gravity Level 2 and ending with 20 minutes of Anti-Gravity Restorative. Please bring a yoga mat, grip socks and water.

ANTIGRAVITY RESTORATIVE YOGA

Indulge your mind and body with AntiGravity Restorative Yoga. This very unique class involves opening the hips, spine, and connective tissue using the AntiGravity Silk Hammocks. With the hammocks lowered to just above the floor you are able to deepen the mind-body connection and your spinal flexibility as you are led through a series of gentle postures without pressure on your joints. This technique features various forms of supported asana that are accessible to all, including students with physical limitations. Experience a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life with AGY Restorative Yoga.

ANTIGRAVITY KIDS

Kids ages 9 & Up get to test out their flight skills in a class just for them. This class is designed to introduce KIDS to the benefits of AntiGravity Fitness.  Book your space in this class and then jump on board for the remainder of the school year and summer. It's fitness that is fun and easy to stick with.
